A velvet of emotions in your room
Gynura is an easy-to-grow houseplant and appreciated above all for its velvety and purple foliage. The stems are covered with large and characteristic leaves with very deep veins. The leaves of the Gynura are fleshy, covered with a dense purple-purple hair, which makes them velvety to the touch and by virtue of this peculiar characteristic that the plant is also commonly called Purple Velvet.
CARE
Plant easy to find and maintain, it is advisable to position it avoiding places subject to drafts. Keep the environment humid. Abundant in summer but avoiding stagnant water. During the winter just keep the soil moist.
FLOWERING
Usually does not present flowering if grown indoors. In nature it blooms during the month of February. Flowers do not have a very pleasant scent.
