Think billbergia, think home
Classic apartment plant, very decorative, whose height varies from 30 to 60 cm. The flowers of billbergia last little but are very beautiful, can be cascaded or vertical with a great variety of colors: purple, blue, yellow, green or white. The billbergia is characterized by 5 or 6 linear leaves of fleshy consistency, with an elegant curved habit and thorny margins; the leaves, green or grey green, expand starting from a rosette.
TREATMENT
Wet regularly during the hot seasons, keeping the soil slightly humid, in winter thin the interventions. Always use limestone-free water, preferably if it rains and at room temperature.
FLOWERING
The small blue flowers, wrapped in bracts, appear after several years and bloom only once. The flowering takes place in spring.
