It is an erect plant, evergreen, of not easy cultivation. The leaves are oval or elongated, variegated with very lively colours; its height varies from 60 to 150 cm. 'You are capricious': here is the meaning of this beautiful ornamental plant. The very lively colour of the foliage makes it very decorative and cheerful.

TREATMENT

Watering should be done weekly, but you should never overdo it, because remember that the soil should always be moist, but never drenched, since the roots would suffer. Croton pruning should be done at the beginning of each spring.

FLOWERING

If you want your Croton to flourish in your home, you should know that this event is very rare. Instead in the wild they develop some panicle-shaped flowers of a whitish colour; they go out when the climate is temperate, therefore in the spring period – beginning of summer.
