Description:
Hyacinth is an Asian lily that has been cultivated in Europe for several centuries. Although hyacinths are commonly grown inside homes, they are also suitable for planting in lawns or window sill planters, so much so that it is easy to develop a potted hyacinth to create flowered terraces or balconies.
Care:
The bulbs are buried in late autumn (between October and November) to have flowering from February to March-April. They should be placed at a depth of about 20 cm by placing them on the bottom of a small hole and covering them with a layer of earth double the height of the bulb.
It is necessary to plant them at a distance of at least 10-12 cm between one bulb and another. The sturdy and showy flowers come in colors ranging from white, yellow, pink, fuchsia, red, purple and darker purple.
