The Solanum Jasminoides (also known as Jasmine at night) is an extraordinarily generous climbing and falling plant, ideal for transforming balconies, terraces and pergolas in real and exclusive candid flower oases. Delivered in a practical 14 cm jar, it presents itself with vigorous growth and an abundant flowering that goes from spring to the first autumn colds, giving you a waterfall of white-star florets with a delicate yellow center.

Care and cultivation

☀️ Exposure

PLEASE POSITIONS IN FULL OPTO or in a very bright half shadow. More light receives, its bloom will be richer and prolonged.

💧 Watering

Irrigate regularly during spring and summer, keeping the ground slightly humid but never soaked. In winter it is sufficient to wet rarely, only when the soil is completely dry.

🪴 Land and Ronvaso

He loves fertile, light and well draining land. It uses a universal quality soil added with perlite or pumice to avoid water stagnation.

🌡️ Temperature

Tolerate the summer heat well. In areas with very rigid winters (under 0 ° C), it is advisable to repair the plant near a protected wall or withdraw it in a bright but not heated environment.

✂️ Pruning

At the end of winter or early spring, he makes a containment pruning to stimulate the issue of new twigs and guarantee an even more dense flowering.

Curiosities and secrets

✨ False relative of jasmine: despite the name and shape of flowers, we remember very much jasmine, the Solanum actually belongs to the Solanaceae family (the same as tomatoes and aubergines!).

🌸 Surprising resistance: it is one of the most robust and easy climbing plants, perfect even for those who do not have a green expert thumb but does not want to give up a balcony always flowery.
