Rustic, evergreen, sufruticose shrub, with abundant garnet red or white blooms. If the climate allows it, it can also be grown outdoors. Easy to find and of medium difficulty of cultivation.
Calluna heather blooms from August and stays in bloom until almost Christmas. Available in many shades, from pink to white. It resists frost. This is a perennial heather, but is grown primarily as a seasonal potted plant.
