With this 'Royal Navy' Hyacinth you will have a real star in your garden. Its blue flowers are of a unique and timeless beauty. The contrast with the dark green stems completes the picture. So, if you want a real eye-catcher on your terrace or balcony, this hyacinth is the right choice! The flowers bloom between March and May.
Care: Fertilize from March to November with liquid or granular fertilizer for flowering plants, at least once every 30 days. If planted in the garden, irrigate only in periods of prolonged drought. If it lives in a vase, wet it regularly.
Sowing: The hyacinth bulbs are planted from September to December, in a well-tilled soil in depth, quite rich, well drained, preferably in the sun, even if they tolerate shade after flowering. An addition of coarse sand is essential in heavy and clayey soil, to prevent any risk of bulb rot. Plant the bulbs with a bulb planter, which has the advantage of creating a flat bottom on which you have the base of the bulb, which is wide enough. Bury them 10-15cm deep, a little less in heavy soil. Fill the hole and compress the earth by watering lightly.
