CHARACTERISTICS: Oil obtained from the cold pressing of the Neem tree seeds, the Azadirachta Indica, which is a 20 meters high tree originating in Southeast Asia. The fruit of this tree is a drupe similar to the olive which contains one or two seeds from which, by crushing, Neem oil is extracted, a natural insect repellent.

FUN FACT: A research carried out by the University of Bologna has shown that Neem oil, in addition to its proven insecticidal activity, performs an important antioidic activity. In addition, the study authors reported a marked effectiveness of Neem oil against rust.
